GGGGGGGGGGG

There are probably a lot of folks who would love to buy exercise
points!!!

The real answer is that it depends on current weight, duration and
intensity level. Someone may have the url for a calculator that might
help.

Ok, guess I will answer the rescue call. <G> Here are two of my favorites.

www.caloriesperhour.com this site has actual listings for dang near all
activities ... even standing still. <G>

And there is always Dustin's computer desktop calculator - uses exertion level,
amount of time exercised and current weight to figure those AP's.

Thanks Joyce!!

A point of food is worth how many calories? And that site is really
good!(love the war papering...I mean wallpapering)

Thanks Sally

Points are calculations based on calories, fat and fibre, so there isn't a
simple answer to that question I'm afraid. Dustin's calculator will work
them out for you.

Well, the simple answer is 50 calories for a point. As Julie pointed
out, there's a bit more to it than that.

If you add four calories for every gram of fat, and subtract ten
calories for every gram of fiber (up to 4 grams of fiber), then you
can figure 50 calories is a point.

It's really hard to say how many calories are in one points. Some people use 50
calories as the magic number ... but fat content and fiber content is also in the
calculation. For example, veggies that are high in fiber and low in calories
usually work out to 0 points for a cup ... 4 g. of fiber reduces the point count
by 1 point. High fat food will increase the point value. I don't have the
official calculation handy, someone else might come along and post it for you.

OH! And when figuring out AP's ... it takes roughly 100 calories burned to earn 1
activity point.
