View Full Version : Hungry! and feeling better

I must be feeling better - I'm starving! All week, I've been struggling to
eat up to my target points because I just wasn't hungry. Today, I'm really,
really hungry! I'll be using some Flex Points for sure! I drive past Taco
Bell on the way to preschool, but I'm going to keep driving. I think a "ham"
sandwich and some leftover minestrone soup would be much better than a
7-layer burrito. As good as that burrito sounds, I'm hungrier than that! I
would end up eating that plus other junk, so I'm just going to skip it.

Does this sound like I'm trying to convince myself? Well, I guess I am.
Motivation has to come from within, right? You should hear me in the car - I
talk to myself all the time! <G>

Talking to yourself at least guarantees the answers you want to
hear... I do it myself...

Anyhow, wot is a 7 layer burrito anyway? Or do I not want to know?!

It is a vegetarian burrito, with refried beans, rice, guacamole, sour cream,
tomatos, cheese, and ... um ... and 2 more things! Mainly, it is 12

Suzzzzie, you don't know what you're missing!!! However, I seem to remember
you wouldn't even eat green chile hamburgers - which to the members of this
ng who have never been to southern New Mexico and have never eaten green
chile hamburgers or cheeseburgers - they're wonderful!

Then try the bean burrito. It's only 6 points and LOADED with fiber.

Having been a regular customer of Taco Bell for 26 years (that's an amazing
thought!), I can tell you the bean burrito is no substitute for the 7-Layer!
Although it is quite tasty. :-)

haha, glad to hear you are feeling better, Wendy! mmmm Taco Bell. That
DOES sound good, but you are SO right... the nutrition is no where near
worth the points because you only end up being hungry again an hour after
you eat it. I hate that!
