Hi everybody..........

Hope all of u r doing fine and well, feeling perhaps better than me.
Tomorrow is my meeting No. 14... in all these weeks I have a loss of 7.8kg
or 17lbs. which makes me not satisficed at all. The last 4 weeks i just
dont see any good number...... 2 weeks ago i even got almost 5lbs in a
awfull gain . last week i lost them almost all but still i dont feel really
motivated. I know there is no chance to quit cause than it will be just
worse and I'll get all those lbs back in few days
butttttttttt..................... I gosh i just dont feel good.

I really wanna eat all.. like a pig, I know is all in my head but
still........... Im still counting all points and making my diary, etc but
keeps dificult.

I wanna ask u guys something else....... I live in The Netherlands and
here we dont follow (till now) the new program, flexpoints... we still have
kilo kick, and bonus points , etc......... but I would love to follow the
Flex one, perhaps it can help me to go back to the good job. The problem is
that here we count our points different than u guys and i dont know how to
get all the list of points , etc or how good can be the idea of following
another program but going to themeetings to the "normal"one.

I'm 27years old.
1.70 m tall.
106.3 kg (234lbs)
and my range here is 22-26 points at day.

All help is welcome!!!

Greetings and hoping for u all the very best.

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble staying OP. Try adding more
exercise to your daily routine. This will give you extra points plus for
some it helps curb their appitite. How much water are you drinking?
Sometimes when I don't have enough to drink I think that I am hungry but I
am really thirsty instead. Try adding some more protein at lunch if you are
getting hungry by mid afternoon. You could post a sample or 2 of your daily
menus for folks to add some more suggestions.

As for your question on FP, you could use your current method of calculating
points but just follow the FP way of counting them. Eat your Target (mid
point=24) and activity points each day plus any of the 35 FP allowed for the
week.

BTW, 17lbs in 14 weeks is well within the WW recommended 1-2 lbs per week.
Not a bad job at all.

I don't know what to tell you about the program you follow, but I do know
that the key to success is to not quit, and when you feel your motivation
slipping, do just what you did here. Reach out to find it again. One thing
that helped me along the way was printing out and reading a list of reasons
I wanted to lose. Also, if you keep on like you are, this time next year
you will have lost 52 or more pounds. Think of THAT. If you quit, where
will you be this time next year?

I wish I had a solution, but I'm in the same boat myself. I had a brief
surge of enthusiasm when they started the new program, but otherwise it has
been on and off program for the last month or so. I've lost about 40 lbs,
and am holding. I'm not sure that changing programs is the answer, but if
you wanted to try, could you use the WW online? I don't know if you can get
it in the UK, but if you could, then you could give it a shot. Anyway,
here's hoping that both of us find our muse in the near future.

I'm having some of the same problem, but all I can say is don't quit! YOU WILL
get through this bad patch & start on the downward again. Just DON'T give up!

I'm sorry that you are having a rough time,
Carolina. All I can say, is please don't give up. I have given up 3 times in
the last 18 months, when I was feeling this way. Each time I gave up, I gained
back all the weight I lost, and more. I keep thinking that if I had just stuck
it out, and even concentrated on maintaining, instead of losing for a while,
that I would be in a lot better situation than I am in today.

I'm sorry that I don't have any advice for you, but I will be interested in
reading the advice from the others, because I know that I will probably be in
this position again at some point. All the best,

Caroline:
You are 17 pounds LESS than you were 14 weeks ago. That is an
accomplishment. Do not forget that. I smoked cigarettes for about
35 years. I am glad/proud/relieved to say I have been smoke free
for over three years now. It was a challenge to quit. But ... in
many ways it is more challenging to lose weight and maintain the
loss. After all, one HAS to eat to live! So be proud of yourself
and keep on track.

I can understand your frustration because my own weight loss has
been quite slow. In most ways this NG is an outstanding support
system. You will find helpful and courteous folks here. You can
be inspired by the accomplishments of many posters who even put
up their actual weights. But sometimes that can make one a bit
frustrated I think. I am amazed that some folks lost twice as
much as I did in less time!! That type of comparison can have
negative impact, so must be avoided. This is not a race ... this
is a personal challenge.

You can do it Caroline. Just keep up your own pace and sooner or
later you will reach your own finish line. If you have had to
lose lots of weight or just a bit, if you take a few years or a
few months does not matter in the end. We will still encourage
your efforts and cheer your accomplishments.

Thank you Pat.......... Ur words are really kind and they do help alot. I
went tonite to my meeting and i had a loss of 0.66 lbs but well.........
better down than up isnt it?
I also talked to one of the girls there (she had lost about 25kg. (55lbs)
and told me that next week i can bring with me the daily list of ALL what im
eating and sure I'll do it. Lets see whats the thing which keeps me around
the same numbers for this long almost 5 weeks. Ah and by the way, tonite
was my meeting No. 13 =) So no 14 like i said=)

Greetings and Thank you again..................
