Started in May 2002. Have lost 68.3 in the meantime. I don't see WW as
'hard'... I like the points system a lot!

What do you think is the hardest thing about doing weigh****chers, if
any?

Started in 1981, lost over 100, rejoined in 2002 (feb) lost the other 84 to
my goal weight. SIMPLE but not always easy, however with the proper
preparation and committment and the support of the wonderful folks here,
Looking back it FEELS like it was easy.

I originally joined in 1999 and lost 35 pounds in 4 months. Gained it back ;((
Then had my 3rd baby in 2002. Joined WW again 4 months postpartum 6/2002...

I started WW Feb 22, 2003. In 31 weeks, I've lost 50.4 lbs.

The hardest part is staying motivated when weight loss is in
retrograde--when the scale stays the same or goes the wrong direction
despite staying OP. But that's not WW's fault. That's biology.

Here are my stats as of Thursday:

246/223/221 10%
237/223/225 SWWC
started WW 4/21/03

I think the hardest part about doing ww is to get into the exericise routine
and drinking enough water. I was born a couch potatoe.

Started July 12th 2002 and have lost 88 lbs. I haven't found losing the
weight or following the program hard at all. In fact it has been
amazingly easy.

The only thing I found difficult in the beginning was figuring points
for recipes. It can still be a challenge but it isn't so hard anymore.

I joined in July 2003, lost 15 so far. For me, the hardest part has been
eating out, but I think I'm starting to get the hang of that.

Almost 5 weeks (this time, have joined 3 other times in the last 18 months.
This is my last time!)

The hardest thing for me is eating out, and not being tempted to eat my son's
leftovers. I hate wasting food!

Turn his leftovers into another meal at another time - not after you
have eaten your normal meal.

I started in October 2002, and have lost a total of 26 lbs. I had a
long slow section, that I blame on the gall bladder. Hopefully I'm now
on the steady downward slide now! :)

Started WW 11/07/2002 lost 21 pounds. I agree the hardest part is staying
motivated when you are not losing. I haven't been losing for 6 months
now....er....oh yeah that's called maintenance.

I've been following weigh****chers since February 2002, reached my personal goal
in April 2003 and have been maintaining the 95 pound loss since then. I honestly
didn't find anything overly difficult on the program ... until I reached
maintenance. To me, that is the hardest part! Oh ... and that danged flexpoint
system. LOL

I joined July 14, 2003 and have lost 20.6 pounds. I think that the
program is very easy to do! About once a week I have a "binge" but now
I realize that these are not the end of the world -- plus, Flex Points
now makes that part of the program for me! The hardest thing is
exercising -- which, unfortunately, I don't do! :(

I started WW Feb. '02, lost ~65 lbs and went on maintenance in August
'02.

There isn't too much that I found difficult about WW. The past year
maintaining was more of a challenge, but not bad. Recognizing when a
bad habit starts to return and getting it back in check before causing
too much damage is the key for me. Knowing what to do to correct any
gains also helps.

Before WW, when my weight slowly increased each year, I was unable to
accept that I really needed some fundamental changes in my eating and
exercise habits. I always looked at it as, "I could 'diet' and then
go back to my regular eating." Of course it was my "regular eating"
that got me fat in the first place. Once I truly accepted my "regular
eating" needed to change (and change for life), weight control became
very easy.

I have not been doing it as long but that is clearly the conclusion
that I came to, also. My "normal eating" was NOT normal. What was my
normal eating was too many calories and too much cheese, potato chips,
and desserts. My portions were way out of control. Having this
information has helped me redefine meal sizes and helped me rein in my
eating habits.

Congratulations!

I invite everyone join us on Maintenance Island. No matter how long
the journey, this is a great destination to reach. We only serve
regular portions and you will have to buy a new wardrobe when you get
here, but it is well worth it.

What a delightful invitation ;-D I'll be there someday when I get over this bit of a bad patch I've been
having. Thanks for the invite ;-)
