Is the pain killer I take slowing down my metabolism?
Hello,
I have arthritis in my lower back that I take Oxycodone for. I have two questions that I need a little info on. Can the Oxycodone slow down my metabolism to the point where it causes me to gain weight, and if so, will exercise counter the effects? Thanks, V |

Thanks, V It can cause water retention, which can account for some weight gain. Also, it does tend to dimish energy levels, which could in turn cause you to do less and burn less calories. |
