Diet - It's a four-letter word

Now I am 27, and therefore slightly less stupid. By the time I'm 90 maybe
I'll only be a tiny bit stupid. Oh, OT, talking of stupid, my 5 year old nephew was running backwards. He said "Look, Aunt Michelle, I'm running backwards!" Diet - It's a four-letter word
JC some of us got fat by overeating slightly over a LONG period of time, and
not exercising. Our bodies really really want to hang on to that poundage. Some of us--most of us-- have sick metabolisms. At this point it doesn't matter if we ruined our metabolisms or they were just fouled up naturally. I for one have thyroid problems. I have one sister who had to take radioactive iodine and now subsists on synthetic thyroid. I expect I will too one day. I was in the process of what I thought was a heart attack a few years ago, and the emergency room thought it was an asthma attack. (I ended up hyperventaliting.) It took an endocrinologist to explain after the fact that it was a thyroid problem. I know that if I were to exercise more I would jumpstart my metabolism, but I am exhausted all of the time. |
