Default Walmart 5 new brands of low carb bread - tortillas

Yesterday, the bread isle was loaded with SaraLee, Mrs Baird's and
three other low carb breads. And the stocker said the distributor
had promised some low carb tortillas were coming within a couple of
week.

Now where the heck is that Heinz low carb ketchup?

Our Wal-Marts here in eastern Nebraska and western Iowa have the low-carb
tortillas. I had been waiting anxiously for their arrival and was not
disappointed. They are on the smallish side, but it's nice to have a
low-carb tortilla.

The Super Wal-Marts in this area have new, very large areas for their
low-carb goodies. The only thing I haven't been able to find are the
low-carb yogurts. Surprisingly, our smaller grocery store here in town has
them, and they aren't any more expensive than the other "regular" yogurts.

I really have to question the fact that there is bread that is really low
carb. To be honest, I don't buy it. If you still lose weight while sucking
down a bunch of bread, please let us know. I can't imagine I would.

I was wondering about the Heinz ketchup myself. Has anyone seen it?

I was eating the Arnold's Low Carb bread on my first foray into low carb
with no noticeable effect on my weight loss.
There is a possibility that it contributed to my falling off LC though. That
seemed to mark the beginning of a slow slide in "wrong thinking".
I am avoiding the low carb breads this time out, at least until I hit my
target weight.

i haven't tried any of the "low carb" labeled breads, but i eat a slice of
high fiber, multi grain bread about every other day or so (with peanut
butter and sugar free jam). i think it's 13 carbs per slice, with 8 of
those being fiber. that's 5 "net" carbs. it hasn't caused me any problems
so far.

disclaimer: i'm doing SouthBeach, not Atkins.

Silly statement IMHO. That's like saying "if you lose weight sucking down a
bunch of eggs, cheese and butter, please let us know." You won't lose
weight "sucking down a bunch" of anything! Why would you make the
assumption that the OP would overeat carbs with lc tortillas? They can be
worked into a lc eating plan same as any other food. I for one eat low-carb
tortillas two or three times a week and have lost 30 pounds since December
15th. How much have you lost since that date not eating lc bread?
