Default Non-dairy non-soy fast breakfasts

I went to see a naturopath last week, just for something different to do.
I'm not entirely convinced I believe everything she said, but I figured no
harm can come from giving some things a try. Amongst the things she
recommended is that I should minimise dairy. I liked the idea as it might
help with the constant nasal drip I have too.

I can substitute the cheese at lunch with tinned salmon (gets in my fish,
and calcium with the bones), and the yoghurt for afternoon tea with some
almonds and dried fruit. But I'm having trouble coming up with a
replacement for cereal and milk in the mornings. I can do baked beans on
toast, and boiled or poached eggs. After that I'm stuck. I don't like soy
milk (or any other soy product) either, so that cuts out some other options.
Anyone got any other ideas for some variety? It needs to happen in 5
minutes or less - I don't want to have to wake up half an hour earlier just
to get breakfast ready! It's winter here too - warm things are good

Vegemite? Pretty much the national breakfast Down Under, isn't it? I have
no idea how many pts it is, but can't be many.

Low-fat breakfast sausage or turkey bacon and toast

Ham sandwich made with low-fat ham (or a turkey or chicken sandwich --
there's no law that says breakfast has to be breakfast foods)

Oatmeal -- the instant or quick-cooking kind

Also. check the WW recipe exchange board -- there are several recipes for
Breakfast Cookies.

I have oatmeal for breakfast almost every morning and I NEVER put milk
on it. It really doesn't take long to prepare - especially if you have
a microwave.

I have oatmeal for breakfast almost every morning and I NEVER put milk
on it. It really doesn't take long to prepare - especially if you have
a microwave.

I started with slimfast and protein for breakfast, but someone
suggested banana and protein so I have that now. drinkable but not
pleasant. It does keep hunger at bay and takes almost no time to
prepare.

No soy because I don't like the taste I will have to investigate
scrambled egg options - poached and boiled are getting boring.... Thanks
