Dangers of High Carb Living -- Falling Off A Cliff
.. .
A little known danger of high carbohydrate living is falling off of a cliff. The following newspaper story from the Chicago Tribune gives an example of a high carbohydrate eater falling off a cliff and hitting a minivan...... The medical details of why the high carbohydrate eater fell off the cliff are currently uncertain, but since there are so many current media announcements of different diets causing harm, this article is posted for general consideration. :-) ================================================== ========== Cow Falls Off Cliff and Hits Van By Associated Press 12:51 PM CST, November 6, 2007 MANSON, Wash. - Charles and Linda Everson were driving back to their hotel when their minivan was struck by a falling object -- a 600-pound cow. The Eversons were unhurt but the cow, which had fallen off a cliff, had to be euthanized. The year-old cow fell about 200 feet from the cliff and landed on the hood of the couple's minivan, causing heavy damage. A Chelan County fire chief, Arnold Baker, said the couple missed being killed by a matter of inches in the accident Sunday on a highway near Manson. The Eversons, visiting the area from their home in Westland, Mich., to celebrate their first wedding anniversary, were checked at Lake Chelan Community Hospital as a precaution. Everson, 49, said he didn't see the cow falling and didn't know what happened until afterward. He said he kept repeating: "I don't believe this. I don't believe this." ================================================== ==== |

Well, there'd be about 400 lbs of useful meat after butchering, so probably about 2400 servings. I admit one might have to weigh as cutting those portions by eyeballing would be tough. But... I hate to break it to you, but you'll need to freeze the leftovers, d00d. -- http://www.ornery-geeks.org/consulting/ |

Since it's free food dropping down from heaven, one can use it to "feed the multitudes". |

Being a cow risks falling off a cliff. Cows eat high carb. Gotta love it. Too bad this is like a psychology study that uses rats ... |
