Being healthy and thin forever apparently isn't a good enough
motivation. But wanting to look thin and pretty in a white dress for
one day is.

Short term vanity over long term practicality. Sad.

Diet choices aside, if your prospective SO popped the question at you as you
are, are you sure he's going to be happy with you-25?

Pretty much any method will work if you don't care about keeping it
off.
If you want to keep it off that takes something you can stick to
forever,
and that isn't any fad diet.

Looking at your profile I see you have also been posting about
migraines. A great diet *for you* would be one that makes the
migraines go away.

One of the Atkins books has a comment that people on Atkins tend
to stop getting migraines. When I first read it I chuckled at the
nice
PR he was including in his book. Before starting I got 4-6 migraines
per year. Since starting on 21-Jul-1999 I have had 1 migraine in the
entire time since, and that even includes time on maintenance where
my adherence to the process wasn't good enough to keep my
weight from drifting slowly back up. So some difference in how I ate
before and how I eat now makes the difference betwen yes
migraines and no migraines.

I can't promise that Atkins will stop your migraines or reduce their
rate, but it was mentioned in one of the Atkins books and it
happened for me even though I didn't believe it in the book when I
read it.

I think it is very much worth the attempt for you. Get the book.
Read
it (don't skim, read cover to start of recipes like a textbook then
skim the recipes to the back cover). Follow the directions including
the parts you don't understand or don't agree with. Step out in faith
and you'll lose. Maybe you'll greatly reduce your rate of migraines.

Hi Eve,
the best for your health to lose not more then 4 pounds a month.
You have a 5 month, so it's will be natural to lose 20 pounds, just
watch what you eat and try to make some exercise. Try to calculate
calories you eat and spend, it's a lot of different free calorie
calculators you can find: sparkpeople, 2000cal.com
Stay healthy and think about the long term, not only the wedding.
Good luck
