Cooking Software Survey
Do you use Mastercook?
If not, what software do you use? If so, what version? If not using the currect version, what keeps you with your current version? What do you use your cooking software for? What is your favorite feature? What would you like to see implemented in future versions? Does it meet your expectations? Your thoughts or opinions on it? Thanks for your responses! Glenn B. |

Nancy,
What anonymity are you refering to? Posting with a phony e-mail account (look at mine) is one way to prevent spam and viruses caused by e-mail harvesters combing the newsgroups for e-mail addresses. I highly recommend you adding something like Glen did to your e-mail address to protect yourself. Glenn is a regular poster here and frequently posts recipies from Master Cook for us. Look for the Family WW post for more info. Laura "Nancy C Kenfield" wrote in message ... Take off the anonymity and tell us who you are and why you want this information... Do you use Mastercook?
If not, what software do you use? I use Living Cookbook 2005 (version 1.5)by Radium Technology. If so, what version? If not using the currect version, what keeps you with your current version? What do you use your cooking software for? Plan monthly dinners on the calendar and post it in the kitchen so kids stop asking what's for dinner. Also keeps the 'we're having this AGAIN!' from happening. DH also will cook occassionally if he doesn't have to plan a meal, he likes to know what to cook before he does. Also the inventory is a new section and I am just getting started using it. Shopping list. What is your favorite feature? Daily, weekly or monthly calendars. What would you like to see implemented in future versions? The palm version that will sync with the desktop which is currently being worked on. Does it meet your expectations? exceeds them Your thoughts or opinions on it? The support forum is great for this program. Cost was $29.95 with free upgrades, you just pay S&H of $2.50 Excellent program and has helped me revamp many recipes to make them less points. Thanks for your responses! Glenn B. I don't use any. I have a few files of recipes on my computer but see no need for any special program to access or add to them. -- Kate XXXXXX Lady Catherine, Wardrobe Mistress of the Chocolate Buttons http://www.diceyhome.free-online.co.uk Click on Kate's Pages and explore! |
