No-calorie liquid drinks:
Water
tea (no additives)
coffee (no additives).

That's about it.

Actually both coffee and tea have calories.

jeri don't sweat the small stuff. it will start a thread of 250 posts
;-)

Geez, no wonder I weighed 219- all that Ole Black Jo and clear tea!
Has this group lost it lately?

Someone asked why people leave this newsgroup. This is why. I made one small
post correcting a misconception and I've been jumped on by 3 people so far.

You've challenged their personal preference with facts, Jeri. What do
you expect? :-\

People are, of course, welcome to place whatever irrelevant
limitations on their ability to enjoy something that they wish.

And take note - you were not jumped on by me - the one who posted
about tea and coffee to begin with.

All I was doing was answerign the question of - what zero calorie
drinks are there.

My best answer should have been
Water

And nothing else.

But I'm assuming the OP to this tread mean other "low calorie" drinks
that could include tea, coffee, diet soda and other diet carbonated
water drinks.

Either way - the idea the OP has is ridiculous.

Yes it's definitely ridiculous and dngerous. I told the OP that in another
post.

FWIW for most people a few coffee calories wouldn't matter but I know some
pretty solid coffee-holics too. If someone drinks 2 pots of coffee a day
they should realize that adds up to nearly 1000 calories a week.

If anybody has any information on Liquid Dieting I would appreciate it.

There is a discussion thread in this newsgroup that is quite recent on
the subject. Search the archives:

I'm considering doing this on my own.

That's ill-advised. You need medical supervision if you go below 1200
calories of intake per day, or if you use the liquid nutrition as your
sole source of nutrition (at any calorie intake level). There is
really no defensible rationale for doing otherwise.

Let me just pipe in and say that I always refer to bicker, amoung a couple
others here, when it comes to liquid diets. I don't know much about them,
but bicker's great success done under a doctor's supervision is inspiring.
Listen to what he says; it's worthwhile.
