Then we're even. No lasagna for you, no dried guava for me. I normally don't
look at the breads either, is one of those items I pretty much stay away from. I
had seen the muffins listed in their little newspaper/newsletter thing that is
mailed to the house and thought they sounded good. I was very pleasantly
surprised when I found that the nutritional information was friendly also.

than the mini muffin types. Maybe a small cupcake? hehehe There are no
preservatives, took me a while to figure that out (too bad I didn't read the
package where it is stated very clearly). The first two packages I bought turned
moldy within 2 or 3 days. I have since learned ... put them in a zipper bag and
keep refrigerated for a bit longer life. My TJ's has them near the english
muffins/breads - stacked on a display table in the center of the aisle. Go for
it! They really do make a nice snack alternative.

They do seem to have a lot of different varieties. My store was well stocked
again today, mini-chocolate chip, mini mint-chocolate chip, vanilla, orange, very
chocolate (which appears to have a new label on the package now), and coconut. I
only bought the chocolate chip - grabbed 2 containers this time. I've noticed
mine disappearing much faster, looks like hub is helping. G

I just looked at their website and it appears that the only one my store isn't
carrying in the mini-size is the rainbow vanilla .. which I'm not interested in
anyway. I've never seen any of the miss meringue chocolettes in our store ...
cookies drizzled with chocolate. mmmmmmmmmm, chocolate!

find the very chocolate ones and only was able to buy the chocolate raspberry?
Now the raspberry are nowhere to be found, and the very chocolate are slim
pickins. This week we were back to orange and vanilla ... two of my least
favorites. Oh, and my store has also carried mm's in the mini MINT chocolate chip
variety. They are *ok*, I like the plain choc. chip much better.

Default RAFL - Fred - Feb 11

What is interesting is that I now have more breads in the house than
before WW. Most are high fiber and I use them mainly for the weekend
jaunts for sandwiches which I find are better for hunger than the
handful of this, handful of that, that I use to eat while
hiking/skiing. So I make a very skinny peanut butter (less than
tablespoon) and jelly (less than teaspoon) sandwich or two with 1
point bread slices. But muffins, cookies, crackers are pretty much
not purchased anymore. Altho, I will admit that the "brownie" bites
that Costco sells keep catching my eye but I have resisted and never
given in.

Oh, LESANNE, forgot those Costco FRANGO types of choc down there,
also. (G)

That sounds pretty good. I have not looked at any of the "super"
bread-extras - just a loaf on occasion. Still never did find your
lasagna either.

Too late - you knew I wasn't going to pass this one up! Trader Joe's 99% fat free
Blueberry Wheat Bran Muffins ... 1 muffin, about 2 oz., 110 cal/0.5g fat/5g fiber,
1.44 US points. They really are good! Not a large sized muffin, but a bit bigger
than the mini muffin types.

I've put them on my list for the next time I head to Trader Joe's. Not sure when
that will be as I'm currently stocked up on soup, english muffins and blueberry
bran muffins. I'm sure I'll come up with *something* that will drag me there soon
though. G

I decided to try the coconut and they were much too good - better than

Sorry about the gain Fred, but it's just a little one and will be gone in no

Mmmm.... toasted coconut, one of my favorites!

Remember - lifetime means a bit up and a bit down and this week is up.

Current Wt: 157.6
Gain: 0.8

Feeling pretty good with last week's substantial loss, this is great.

Of course, I just discovered Trader Joe's Mini-Meringue in Coconut
flavor and I mean just - out of meeting, to TJ's and found the
meringues. good stuff - like toasted coconut.
