Default Dreading the Scale

I had a terrible week. I'm not sure what was wrong, but it was
capiltal-W-wrong. For one thing my son (2) quit napping this week, so
I had to quit napping and so I am going on little sleep. I didn't log
my food all week. I am worried that I will be up and I am
disappointed as this weigh-in will be the end of my mini-goal and I
know I am at least 3 lbs short of where I wanted to be. This will be
my week-16 weigh-in, too. Pooh!

I'll report back tomorrow night after weigh-in. Send me a *light*
thought, or two, please! LOL...

Remember, the scale is only part of it. The life style changes are far
more important and the relationship with food are much bigger parts of
the WW program. Have you lost inches, are your clothes fitting better?
Do you have more energy? Are you aware of what you are putting in
your body. All of these are far more important than the scale. I
think it was Willow who said recently that the WI is a small second of
a week. So what if you have a gain as long as you don't give up, it
will come right back off and more importantly you have stayed the
course.

Be true to your self and don't quit 10 seconds before the miracle.

Light thought going your way.

Those "bad weeks" are essentials I think... they are there to bring us back
to the basics when too many things get in the way.

Sit down, re-read your program, back to basics! We all have to do that...
regularly.. heehe
Will~

Cool - hope you had fun! At least for things like that, you can see
some value in not being too anal...

Thanks to everyone who responded! I like the idea that the scale isn't
the only thing to look at. I *do* feel better and my clothes are quite
a bit looser. It *is* working! I was down 0.4, which may have been
the difference in my shoes, but hey - after the week I had, I'll take
it!

Back on plan, tracking and being good to myself...thanks to all of you
guys! You're great!
