Default HCG or Kimkins

Hey, Melanie!
I have looked, for my own curiosity, for a sample menu/program/list of foods
for a "500 calorie diet", and I found bupkus online. I may not be searching
correctly. Could you point me in the right direction, or post a list here?
Not saying I am going to GO on such a plan, but I would like to gather more
info, if you will.

Thanks!

For those of us who don't know what the initials mean would someone

Thanks. I was here briefly a few years ago, and I'm Baaack. Never
was really a big poster, but read lots.I have a goal to lose 50+
pounds before my daughter's beach wedding in Aruba next Feb. I was
thinking how much off Atkins I have been whilst thinking I was on it,
and came here to help me refine my madness into method. Guess I needed
to get honest with myself. If we ever get sun again on the east coast,
I'll be able to get outside and play gardener and get some much needed
exercise.
I've lost, and kept off, 20#'s since my high weight a few years ago,
but right now I keep gaining and losing the same damn 3 or 4 #'s. I'm
62, 5'3" and 217#'s. My first goal is 215, then 210, 205, and to lose
the 2 in front of hundred.
Looking forward to being here again.

Default HCG or Kimkins - hcgdietinfo.com

It's all posted at www.hcgdietinfo.com. The original simeons diet 500
calorie, very low cal diet. There's also general information on hcg
weightloss and hcg providers. If you have more questions, you can ask
the current dieters he http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/HCGDIET/

Also, if you're searching for info on the web, it can be difficult to
weed the hcg fertility info that's mixed in with the hcg diet
information. Try www.googleforweightloss.com their search engine is
customized to only bring back weightloss, diet and nutrition
information.

Good luck!

:::::::
::::::: Hmm...I lost 140 lbs and it came from the abs, hips, butt and
::::::: thighs. Why it is that HCG gets the fat first from where people
::::::: (more so women) want to lose it? This sounds dubious.
:::::::
::::::: So, you're losing 2 lbs a month (this ain't bad, BTW). Exactly
::::::: what plan are you following now? What do you currently weigh?
::::::: Are you male or female (you impress me as female)? What is our
::::::: exercise program? How many carbs / day?
:::::::
::::::: While I'd rather see you try Kimkins before getting shots, I'm
::::::: not convinced you can't tweak your current program and get the
::::::: weight loss moving.
:::::::
::::::: You know Cubit loss his weight by eating very low carb and
::::::: counting calories (often restricting to around 1000 kcals/day)?
::::::: I lost mine eating a bit higher carbs than him but using
::::::: exercise.
:::::::
::::::: There are many ways to achieve the same thing. 2 lbs per month
::::::: isn't bad.
:::::::
::::::: This quick weight loss you're seeking as one major disadvantage.
::::::: You won't learn to alter your habits. That grindingly slow
::::::: weight loss you hate so much is the adaptation period that will
::::::: meld your eating plan into your very being. It's part of what
::::::: will help you stay there. Saffire, who posts here at least on a
::::::: weekly basis, lost her weight very, very slowly. That's just
::::::: how it is for some people (seeminly more so for women).
:::::::
::::::: I do think it's fair to compare your shots to GBS and he like. I
::::::: view them the same. I do realize that this is the only real
::::::: option for some. Laureen, who seems overdue to post here right
::::::: now, lost 200+ lbs using this approach, and it has transformed
::::::: her life, as well as that of her husband, who also lost a lot
::::::: of weight using that approach. It works, though the impact can
::::::: be significant in terms of how you eat for the remaining part
::::::: of your life. Al Roker lost a lot, though it seems as if he is
::::::: gaining some back (that's my impression just from seeing him on
::::::: TV recently talking about Imus).
:::::::
::::::: I think with HCG you're more likely to regain, but I don't
::::::: think it is as impactful as GBS, so I do think it has some
::::::: favor there.
:::::::
::::::: If you need your shots to get there, fine. But that 800 kcals /
::::::: day isn't very different than a very low carb calorie counting
::::::: approach. You talk about HCG forcing fat loss over protein loss.
::::::: Hmm? Cubit doesn't report any problems this way. He used
::::::: L-Glutamine and supplments. Also, LC is well know to be protein
::::::: sparing. Weight lifting also forces the body to target fat over
::::::: muscle since you're using those muscles - thus the body tends to
::::::: want to keep them.
:::::::
::::::: I know you've done your research (I haven't read the material).
::::::: Still, I remain dubious. Skillful LCing is likely all you need.
::::::: And if you're willing to live at the 1000 kcal/day level, then
::::::: you can certainly do that while LCIng.
:::::::
::::::: I'm sorry if it seems as if I'm picking on you. That is not my
::::::: intent. 2 lbs per month isn't bad.

Default HCG or Kimkins

The original HCG Diet protocol is published at www.hcgdietinfo.com .
It's the original manuscript by Dr. Simeon who developed the hcg for
weightloss theory in the 50's. It's rather interesting actually and
the site has all sorts of information about the diet.

And if you're looking for encouragement, you should see the owner's
before and after pics in the yahoo hcg diet group. From obese to
bikini! I for one, didn't know that was possible!

correctly. Could you point me in the right direction, or post a list here?
Not saying I am going to GO on such a plan, but I would like to gather more
info, if you will.

Thanks!

If we ever get sun again on the east coast,
I'll be able to get outside and play gardener and get some much needed
exercise.

Welcome back.

The 500 calorie diet menu is posted at www.hcgdietinfo.com along with
the original hcg diet manuscript by Dr. Simeons, "Pounds and Inches."
There is also an hcg diet and weight loss provider directory, and
general information on hcg for weight loss. I was personally on the
hcg diet years ago, and have kept the weight off without effort. I am
happy to see that so many people are now applying the hcg diet for
permanent behavior modification and keeping the weight off. - Jen
