I like to cook whole chicken on my gas BBQ. Two Chickens back down, in a
stainless steel, and a whole lemon pricked full of holes and inserted into each bird. If you have fresh rosemary, put that inside also. I tastes delicious every time. Don't forget to baste. Not quite. The rotisserie chicken would be much better tasting (even without spices) than the new oven roasted chicken they are selling now. I had this just the other day. The strips were small (seemed a little dried out, but that could've been just the KFC I bought them at.) They had a coating on them that stuck to the roof of your mouth and left a bad, bad after taste. Horrible! I would never buy them again, and wouldn't even advise others to. Unless of course you want to find out how horrible they are. I talked to the manager of that KFC, they basically said the same thing - they don't even want them in their store, but have to sell them because they are a KFC product. And, they are expensive. I think I'll stick to roasting my own chicken here at home! Try getting a chicken that is cut in half (or butterflied), then, baste it with a little olive oil and spices. Turn the oven on to 350 degrees F. Every 15 min, turn the chicken over. Like having your own rotissiere. Just cook it until done, I think mine took about 45 min. The skin turned out really crisp and the meat was tender - fall off the bone tender. I think the whole chicken costs less than $5. |

One... I had two servings of green beans so I got to at least have
