Changing times at Kraft Foods?
Kraft Foods Inc. Orders Up Healthier Snacks Amid Sales Skid,
Changing Demand 08-22-2004 10:20 AM NORTHFIELD, Ill. -- These are the times that try cookie makers' sales. But now the nation's largest food manufacturer is moving to cut back on some of its indulgences. Growing obesity, the popularity of low-carbohydrate diets and worries about potentially artery-clogging trans fats all have combined to hurt sales at the company, Full story at: http://sandiego.cox.net/cci/newsnati... id=D84KDBPO1 |

I am afraid to see what they are going to put into the products that will be coming out this fall, though. Trans fats etc., I'm afraid. These companies REALLY need to listen. -- Jean B. |

I keep getting kraft advertisement recipe books in the mail. A lot of
recipes do not give the nutritional contents and those that do may give the calories and the fat content but they rarely ever give carb content. I figure they must be trying to hide something. As long as they omit the nutritional info, the recipes will continue ending up in the round file and will never see my dinner table. TC "metoo" wrote in message ... Kraft Foods Inc.
