Even with the sugar, I don't imagine the carbs are over 10 grams or so per slice, but I could be wrong. |

A friend of mine e-mailed them and asked about the sweetener used in the
cheesecake and this was the reply: Hello! Thank you for taking the time to write us today, and for your patronage to our Ruby Tuesday. I am so glad to hear that you are happy about our new menu! The sweetener used is splenda. We base all of our menu decisions on feedback just like yours. I will be sure to bring up your requests as well as requests of our other Guests as we plan menus in the future. Our goal is to keep you coming back for more. I hope that you will give us the opportunity to WOW you again! I thank you again for your time, and should you need anything further, please let me know. Have a great day! Thanks! Diana Thompson |

Same price here in Ohio. The piece is pretty big. I'd say about
two-thirds the size of a "normal" slice, and about half as big as Cheesecake Factory monster slices. I didn't have a ruler with me, but my estimate would be about 2.5 inches high, 2.5 inches wide, and about 4 inches long. Rob "Chris Taylor Jr" waxed eloquently: Wanna bet. hey partnet what did they charge you for that slice and how big was it :-) Chris Taylor http://www.nerys.com/ "PieNtheSky32" wrote in message ... It was actually Atkins brand? Wow. Expensive for them. ~*~Pie~*~ |

The box the restaurant manager showed me actually did say Atkins on
it, I was surprised as I assumed it would be too expensive for them to serve. It costs $4.99 a slice at our location. It was a good sized piece of cheesecake, probably about 2-1/2" inches wide. It had a very dense, creamy texture to it, just the way I like it, it was soooo good! |

I use Splenda every day, but this levolose is supposed to be more like
fructose, from what I understand, and isn't very low carb friendly. It sounds like some of the Ruby Tuesdays are serving Atkins cheesecake and others have the substitute, so I guess we just have to ask when we order. |
