Default Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA)?

I've been hearing a lot about this, also on the Atkins Center page. One
source said it would only help fat conversion if taken during a low-fat
regime. Does that mean it generally won't activate the metabolism unless
one is on a LF diet? Has anyone got any experience with taking CLA while
LC'ing? I'm curious because I had it recommended to me to help thyroid
problems.
