Liquid Diets Need Advice
"Al Scudiero" wrote in message
If anybody has any information on Liquid Dieting I would appreciate it. I'm considering doing this on my own. Drinking non-calorie liquids, combined with vitamins and supplements. I am NOT talking Slim-Fast or any of the energy drinks. Pure-non-caloric liquids for an indefinite period. As far as I know the only zero calorie liquid is water. Pills can't provide some of the vitamins, minerals, and essential nutrients your body needs. Don't do it. -- Jeri stargazer40 at hotmail dot com type it in, don't hit reply 265/189/120 Atkins since 11/5/01 "Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right." |

(Brewed coffee has 9.5 calories per 8 fluid ounces according to the USDA website.) |

Geez, no wonder I weighed 219- all that Ole Black Jo and clear tea! Has this group lost it lately? No I haven't lost it at all. And I never claimed anyone got fat drinking coffee or tea. I was simply correcting a mistake. Zero means zero not less than 1 or between 1 and 2. How many times have we complained about labels that misrepresent calories/fat/carbs by rounding off or companies that make the servings size small just so they can round to zero? Perhaps the small number of calories won't make a difference to people who are counting calories but the carbs certainly matter if you count carbs and drink a lot. Zero calories implies zero carbs and that is not correct. -- Jeri stargazer40 at hotmail dot com type it in, don't hit reply 265/189/120 Atkins since 11/5/01 "Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right." |
