Our WW leader told us Tuesday that leaders are no longer allowed to share
recipes with members but that we could certainly share them with each other!

We had these for dinner last night...very good. Leftovers for lunch today
were equally yummy.

Baked Turkey & Jack Cheese Chimichangas

Serves 8 5 points each
1/2 lb uncooked ground turkey breast
1 16oz can of fat-free refried beans
8oz salsa
4-1/2 oz canned green chiles chopped
1 tsp chili powder
3 TB thinly sliced scallion
1 cup shredded reduced fat Monterey Jack cheese ( I used Kraft FF
Mozzarella)
8 lrg burrito-size wheat flour tortillas ( I used the low carb torts from
Trader Joe's)

FF sour cream and salsa for garnish

Preheat oven to 350 Coat lrg skillet with cooking spray. Brown turkey ,
drain any liquid. Add beans, 8 oz salsa, chili peppers, chili powder and
scallions. Cook til heated through. Stir in cheese. Spoon about 1/2 cup
mixture on each tortilla, fold in sides and roll up. Place in baking dish
sprayed with cooking spray and bake til crisp and brown..about 20 minutes.
Serve each with additional salsa and 1 TBS FF sour cream.

Good grief!

Our Weight Watcher leader told us they can't share recipes unless they're
official weight watcher recipes. I guess WW wants us to buy their books.
So far, they said there's no reason why we can't bring recipes to share.

My leader said the same thing this week--only WW magazine, cookbook or
website recipes (and not those posted by other members, only official
ones) would come from her. We were encouraged to share with others
though...

Her encouraging you to bring in recipes to share maybe because while she has
to follow the rules you folks do not. If WW had their way then no Non-WW
recipes would be shared at WW meetings. What a shame.

They don't want any WW recipes shared either. It is a copyright
infringement.

I wondered about that when someone asked for the WW pumpkin pancake
recipe. I won't post one of theirs again.
