Sucralose follies
Weeks ago I bought some sucralose from the eBay vendor. I tried some last
night and felt a drug like reaction, almost like alcohol. I have no reaction at all to the sweetzfree version, or the (now unavailable) lo-carber version. The eBay sucralose comes with a long list of preservatives. As I see it: 1. I imagined the whole thing. 2. The product is not sucralose. (or) 3. I have a sensitivity to the preservatives. Anybody else try the eBay stuff? |

Sucralose follies
I have not, I must confess that personally I'd be afraid to consume anything
I bought off ebay...... However this new product that I mentioned last week? I've been using it in my herbal tea all week and am very happy with it. It's called Swerve and it has no aftertaste, no GI upset for me at all which is it's claim. It's expensive but totally worth it to me. Carol J "Cubit" wrote in message ... Not that I would have, but I certainly wouldn't try it after your report. The sweetzfree version doesn't have any preservatives (AFAIK), so why does this eBay version have them? To put less sucralose in there? |

Not that I would have, but I certainly wouldn't try it after your report. The sweetzfree version doesn't have any preservatives (AFAIK), so why does this eBay version have them? To put less sucralose in there? I just checked my bag of Splenda, and it has Maltodextrin in it as well as sucralose. And, Maltodextrin is listed first! Pat in TX |

Maltodextrin is the bulking agent, not a preservative. It's extremely high glycemic, too. Susan What's odd is that evidently there is more maltodextrin in the package than the product! Pat in TX |

Sucralose follies
I'm sure there are..........do I want to be a guinea pig when searching one
out? I think not..... btw, I've bought/sold on ebay for years.....so I don't have an issue with that. I guess I figure if I can find what I need/want locally and I can eye ball it, hold it in my hand then why go to ebay for it? I only go to ebay for hard to find items, older dvd's, that sort of thing. But hey, if it works for you then that's the important thing right? Carol J "Roger Zoul" wrote in message ...
