HFC is in EVERYTHING!! Arrg!
I bought some cans of DeMonte stewed tomatoes "original recipe"
I thought they might be a good vegetables to eat and be low carb Much to my surprise after reading the ingredients label I see where the third ingredient down is "high fructose corn syrup" Why oh why do they put HFC in canned tomatoes!! HFC is in everything!! Even in things not needing sweetness! |

No it isn't.
Read the labels in the store, not in your home and you'll do fine. I've got a can right here of DelMonte Diced Tomatoes (I use it for low carb beanless or soy bean chili). 1/2 c serving 6g carbs 2g fiber Ingredients: Tomatoes, Tomato Juice, Salt, Calcium Chloride, Citric Acid.
