Default A big ego boost at work today

Yesterday, my 2x scrub pants were kinda droopy in the crotch and my legs
kept rubbing. So today I decided to try the 1x pants, never expecting to
really get in them. Well, to my surprise, they fit!. I will try a 1x top
tomorrow. Course our scrubs are made by different companies, and there is
actually a sub-range of sizes in each size category, but by golly I can get
in some of the 1x ones.
This made me all the more determined to stick with it. In fact when I ended
up missing my lunch, I actually turned down a friend's offer of soup. She
gets the Campbell's individual serving sizes, and just couldn't understand
that I would rather be a bit hungry than eat it. Only 2 of my coworkers
know about low carb, the rest are anti fat. Everyone is perpetually on a
diet, and never seem to lose any weight. Wonder why?

Feels good.
I had one a few months ago where my supervisor needed to attend a
meeting about a product design that I am considered an expert in. He
was facing a mob as he put it and targeted a few guys to bring with
him, I was skipped over and I volunteered but was told I wasn't big
enough. He wanted big guys for a shield. THANKS.
It's minor stuff like that that make major statements about one's
progress.

That's good -- and fun -- news. Sometimes going down a size is as
much of a surprise as going up -- just a much better one. ;-)

Nice work.
