My blood tests say it all!
I just got back from my doctor's office. This is the first blood work
I've had done since starting LC. Pre-LC non-Zocor cholesterol: 238 (5+ years ago) Non-LC with Zocor: 185-189 (Pre-LC average over the past 5 years) LC with Zocor: 162 Woo Hoo!!!! (Last week) LDL: 97 HDL: 54 Trigycerides: 78 2 hour fasting blood sugar: 111 12 hour fasting blood sugar: 92 This is the best blood test I've ever had! My doctor is all for a "modified" Adkins approach. From what I gather when asking him to clarify, I assume that he means OWL & pre-maintenance levels of carbs. His worry is people not understanding what LC means, and trying to "eliminate" carbs, which is, indeed, not a good idea. The best part of my visit was his nurse. This lady has been his nurse for 15 years and she's lost 30 lbs. this year on LC. You just can't argue with the proof!!! Coff 303/246/185 LC since 11/03 |

Great news, Coff! Glad to hear that your doc is approving, too!

You just can't argue with the proof!!! As a non native english speaker I have to ask if you do not mean evidence instead of proof? |

It had been a long day. Words were exchanged, allegations thrown about, and I stormed out. We haven't talked since. You just can't argue with the proof!!! As a non native english speaker I have to ask if you do not mean evidence instead of proof? It appears to be to be a distinction without a difference. Coff |

But standards have been going downhill for centuries now. Congratulations on your good numbers. -- revek www.geocities.com/tanirevek/LowCarb.html my newest love: http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/tan...e+new+grandson Everything starts somewhere, though many physicists disagree. But people have always been dimly aware of the problem with the start of things.
