Not really. Company failures are to do with bad management, not bad diets. There are company failures due to bad ideas and/or bad products. In Christ's love and service, Andrew -- Andrew B. There was several of us there. One was asked if she was going to try it. She said "hell no she wasn't... not when the writer of the diet dropped dead." Yes, Dr. Robert Atkins did drop dead, was resuscitated, only to die a year later at the doorsteps of his office. What is the difference between the atkins diet and a type II diet? Depends on how you define a type II diet. If you are referring to the ADA recommendations, the difference is carbs. The Atkins diet is low-carb while the ADA diet is less-carb (avoiding simple sugars). In Christ's love and service, Andrew -- Andrew B. Hollywood, resident MBA responds: And the book is still out on how well/long Steve Jobs and the cult of Apple will do as a consumer products company rather than a computing company. The weird thing is that, way way way way back, the idea was the make a computer company a consumer products company. Many CEOs, many strategies later, they've managed to do just that, but we will see if it spurs the regrowth of Apple as a computer brand. Initial trends suggest that the Mac platform is making a comeback, thanks to IPod, et al, but I think the network is too far gone the other way, especially with the high switching cost (think software rebuy, not hardware). -Hollywood 264/257/218 monthly-goal: 10 since: 7/20/2005 |

Fortunately his arteries were quite clear for a man his age and the resuscitation worked fine. He continued to work for well over a year after that day before he slipped on the ice and broke his head. There is no resuscitation method for a smashed skull and bashed brain. |

You say Atkins rose from the dead? No. Truth is simple: http://makeashorterlink.com/?P2264129A The way to the truth is straight and narrow: http://makeashorterlink.com/?A2642108A You will remain in my prayers, dear neighbor, whom I love, in Lord Christ's holy name. May you reject your pride and accept Him as your personal Lord and Savior, someday, so that you too will have eternal life and the fascinating riches of His everlasting kingdom. Here's how: http://makeashorterlink.com/?I22222129 Please note that God truly made this special link describing that He is the great "I am" and that His message is as simple as the number 2 which is a number between 1 to 9 and reminds us of His 2 commandments, the 2 arms of the cross, the 2nd part of the Trinity, the 2 finger sign of the Prince of Peace [who remains *V*ictorious over death and satan], and the 2PD-OMER Approach. Let it not ever be written that Christ did not make His presence known here on Usenet :-) Also, note that Exodus 16:16 continues to remind us that 16 oz plus 16 oz makes 2 pounds, which is "a certain measure of weight," which is what "omer" literally means in Hebrew. Enter the 2PD-OMER Approach, which can "cure" metabolic syndrome (MetS) thereby bringing this thread back on topic in these NGs :-) http://www.HeartMDPhD.com/wtloss.asp http://www.HeartMDPhD.com/press.asp You may hear me speak about the 2PD-OMER Approach in person and meet others who have been using this WOE he http://www.TheHealthFair.com You may also choose to have me speak to your group or organization about the 2PD-OMER Approach in person for the usual and customary speaker's fee of US$30,000.00 made as a tax-deductible contribution to TheWellnessFoundation.com (it remains my choice to not profit personally from the 2PD-OMER Approach): http://www.TheWellnessFoundation.com In Christ's love and service, Andrew -- Andrew B.
