Default Diet Coke with Lime?

Hello all,
Today I happened upon some new "Diet Coke with Lime", and enjoyed it.
Since I haven't seen any mention of it is it possible that Nashville
actually got something early on in a product introduction?
BTW, there was no regular version. For once my husband ended up being
the disgruntled one. G

Take care,
Carmen

I haven't heard of it; it was drinkable? I once tried "Diet Coke with
Lemon" and decided it would have been more aptly named "Diet Coke with
Furniture Polish." It was narsty.

diet coke with lemon isn't bad. I wonder what lime would be like.
Who knows, perhaps Nashville is a test market.

Just be thankful you don't have "Sprite Ice" in the united states.
Sprite + Mint = crap.

But Diet Coke with lime (not the brand, just with lime, the fruit) is
sublime. Really! I'm looking forward to trying this out.

Cheers,

I'm shocked that this crap is still on the market. I've had about
three sips of one. The first sip was, well the first sip. I drank a
second one to make sure I din't get it wrong somehow. The third one
was to remind myself to never do that again. My wife almost barfed
after her first sip. Tastes like battery acid, only with a less
pleasant aftertaste.

Nope. We got it here in Seattle, too.

Battery acid about sums it up. The lemon flavored is equally nasty. But I
agree--plain old regular Diet Coke with a wedge of lime is fantastic.

Oh, I agree. Diet Coke with the actual juice of the actual fruit, either
lemon or lime, is quite tasty. I was referring to the product, "Diet Coke
with Lemon." I don't know what they put in there, but I don't think it
bears much of a recognizable relationship with actual lemon juice. More
like the lemon scent they put in dishwashing liquid. Feh. So I wouldn't be
surprised if "Diet Coke with Lime" is just as vile, even though Diet Coke
with real live actual lime is nice.
