My appetite got smarter
This is so cool. Used to be, pre-LC, that if I pigged out all day one day,
the next day my appetite would be just as big. It didn't matter how active or inactive I was either, I'd just always want to eat a lot. Now though it seems like my appetite actually responds to what I've been doing like it's conspiring to keep my weekly calories at the same average. Like, if I work out, I'm hungrier. If I'm having a lazy day, I'm less hungry. If I eat really light one day, then the next day I'll be more hungry, and if I overeat one day then the next I'll be less hungry. And therefore without even trying, my overall calorie consumption ends up being low enough week to week to keep losing, even if I overeat here and there. -- Michelle Levin http://www.mindspring.com/~lunachick I have only 3 flaws. My first flaw is thinking that I only have 3 flaws. |

I have found with low carbing that my appetite is greatest in the mornings and tapers off throughout the day. In the evenings I am not at all hungry for a couple hours before bed as long as I have eaten my '3 squares a day' and not skipped a meal. |

Isn't it wonderful to feel "normal" about these things? nancyy |
