Hehehehehe! Have you ever had a really good Stilton, or some proper
farmhouse made English cheddar? Or a proper ripe French Brie or.. or..

OK, stay away from the cheese - leave it for us who like it! ;D I'd
save points all week for a slice of Christmas cake and a wedge of
Stilton! Match made in heaven...

Glad the results were favorable. I like cheese way too much myself.

Looking for a good report next week.

hey folks,

Well, having chosen to avoid the scale monster last week, it was time to
face it again this morning. Again, the usual trepidation set in, and I
wasn't sure what to expect. This weekend involved cheese twice, both

times
whilst I was out. I love cheese, but it's SO bad pointswise, and so hard

to
guess at portion sizes, that even though I did point it, I felt bad about

it
because I'm sure I did a bad job of it, and it only takes a little bit

more
to make a whole point's difference! And when you're sitting there at the
end of a good meal, red wine in had, you do tend to nibble............

One
of those things I'm best off avoiding altogether I think.

However, after having felt (weightwise) a little up last week after the

long
holiday weekend, I was feeling a little down this week, so although I

feared
a gain, I suspected a loss. Result? I'm 0.2 up over 2 weeks, which I

think
is pretty darned good and I'm more than happy with. Especially as I feel
like it's going down this week, so hopefully by next week that will have

cut
in and I'll be back on the down again........

No cheese for me this weekend! *grin*

Add me to the list of folks who can hear the cheese calling.

I have 5 types of cheese in my fridge right now. a cheddar with habanero
pepper, a fresh parmesan, gorgonzola, baby blue, and cream cheese. It's a
long story as to why they are there.

Add me to the list too... you can wake me up any time of the night for a
good blue cheese, or goat cheese :-)
I 'm already drooling over Julie's fridge... let me see what 's in mine : a
fresh goat cheese, some Stilton, a very smelly Belgian cheese, fresh
Parmesan and some low fat gorgonzola cheese which is not even that bad.

This past month has been horrid. The daughter decided she was taking cheese cubes
in her school lunch, so we had several bags of different varieties. Normally, I
don't keep it in the house - but since she requested .......

I fix her lunch, was incredibly hard to have to deal with this every dang day. g
Now we're down to one bag of cubed up stuff, and I still can hear it calling. I'm
staying far, far away.

I found that having the stronger cheeses help get rid of a lot of the
cravings for cheese because a little goes a long way. The cheddar with
habanero is a precautionary measure mostly because my body doesn't like the
habanero so I can *only* eat a little at a time.

The parmesan goes a long way with the points and I'm pleased about that-I
have a fine grating attachment for my grater and it is a life saver. One
ounce after shredding looks like it has 4 ounces of volume. If I have to
trick myself, so be it.

I have found that even the jar parmesan cheese will satisfy me when I make
scrambled eggs. I have always put cheddar cheese in my eggs and now put
parmesan cheese on the top instead. Much more point friendly.
