I went and did something today that will, with a bit of luck, give me
new motivation to knuckle down and get to goal. I got my belly button
pierced :-)

(Frantically looking for bellybutton in Welly - have I got one?)

Ooer! Dunno... Haven't seen mine fer years either!

Hope the motivation works, Erin!

Thanks Kate. No need to cringe, it didn't hurt ;-)

Nah, it didn't hurt much at all. No worse than blood tests.

Are you going to post pics of that belly button for
us?

When I can get my hubby to take pics I'll get him to put them up on my
website. Hopefully he'll take them today, no saying when he'll get
around to posting them though.

I've thought about it a few times, but not much point, even at my goal
weight my belly wouldn't be worth showing off! Maybe I'll add another set
to my ears!

My belly will never really be worthy of showing off, but I don't care.
I did it for myself really. And even now, it doesn't look too bad in
hipsters.

I had a tattoo done on my upper arm a few months ago and that was
great movation to get fit enough to make it look good.

Cool. What's the tattoo of? That's next on my list, but it'll probably
be years, if ever. I did enquire about price yesterday though, so
maybe one day I'll get up the courage ;-)

It's a celtic band. Looks far better now than it did when I got it
done.

If you can get a belly button pierce, a tattoo will be easy. Go for
it

LOL. My husband is with you. He does not understand why anyone would
want to purposely put holes in themselves...lol...

LOL. You could get a surface piercing ;-)

I do have a tattoo on my right wrist - more around my forearm, really, but
just above my wrist. I'm seriously considering another tattoo once I reach
goal, but I want to see how my skin lays then!

Cool. What tattoo would you want?

LOL. The piercing didn't hurt, and it was quick. Don't tattoos hurt
rather a lot? My husband doesn't want me getting a tattoo, which is
part of what's holding me back. I might get one for Christmas next
year ;-)

Now I really have to get with the program and get a belly that's truly
worthy of showing off.

(photos will be up on my website soon...ish)

I've got a celtic knot-work griffin around my wrist, and I'm considering
more knotwork. I had wanted a dragon or castle, but having been tattoo'd,
I'm reconsidering a large shaded piece. I don't think I'm up for it! As for
your question does it hurt, well, that depends on the type (shaded or
outline or colors) the body part (over bone or tendons hurts more) and your
personal pain threshold. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, but when
she did the part across the underside of my wrist, it hurt alot!!
