Default WLL - Fred - July 28th

I'm telling ya, we are having some really bizarre weather here. Yesterday I had
to relent and turn the air back on, the house was really hot (was 88 upstairs) and
humid. I woke this morning, puttered about the house for a bit then ran out to
the mailbox ... dang was it cold! Temps dropped to mid 60's at some point, had to
change back into jeans and a sweatshirt. It is currently 58F/85% humidity ... and
I see where my brother is located it is registering 96% humidity ... guess what's
coming our way. g So the temps are cooler, but the air is certainly moist. g
Too cool to run the air so windows are opened again, which results in more
humidity in the house, more in my limbs I fear. According to the forecast, we
are to have at least 3 more days of this.

And I do expect MY weight to be up tomorrow ... sodium, sodium and more sodium for
dinner this evening. sigh

LOL! Well if you like *chilly*, you'd love it here. The downstairs thermostat
showed 68F in the house ... ran quickly to the bank, the car thermometer showed
61F, and now my weather program on my desktop says it's 58F/80% humidity. Damn is
it cold. I would ask where summer went, but I'm not sure we really ever saw it.

Hmmmm, so I would probably like the cookie part then - a bit softer. I might have
to remember to give them a try. I think my problem is that I really did like the
s'more ones .. and can't find them now. sigh The next closest thing for me is
the vanilla with chocolate cookie.

9:15 pm - 58F, 68% humidity, dewpoint 48F, windchill 57F (YES!
windchill. Windchill temps have been included in the weather reports
the last couple of days.)

This morning's temp when I woke up was 47F. Yikes! That matched a
record low. Frost predicted overnight in the north. After that, this
cold front is moving east.

I see where my brother is located it is registering 96% humidity ... guess what's
coming our way. g So the temps are cooler, but the air is certainly moist. g
Too cool to run the air so windows are opened again, which results in more

My son is currently working on the construction sites, said he had to drag out his
Carhart coat for work today (for those in warmer climates ... this is a heavy duty
brand, very very warm and durable). He also asked if he could run to the Farm
supply store and buy himself a pair of the winter construction coveralls - all the
other operators were toasty warm in theirs, while he froze his fanny off. g
Chicago news said we did set record lows today, and expect to again tomorrow.
This is definitely not convertible weather. BUT .... I did use those heated seats
in the car today ... very, very nice. g

Oh, I have found them at my grocer - have a package in my freezer. Hub has tried
them, I haven't. I forgot again tonite - maybe tomorrow.

Careful now Fred. Your homemade icecream and cheesecake sound delicious, but do
you REALLY want to go there? g

ingredients for a Chocolate Cheesecake for my secretary's birthday on

actually, not for the orange - I probably would not buy them - there's

BUT we also did have the orange cream variety. I bought a package but haven't
tried them yet. Hub did, said they were very good. Yes, too many short lived
varieties. Is it a marketing ploy to keep us always checking and rechecking -
that urge to have to try something new? I would assume that it would have to be
somewhat costly for the company to continually change, as well as confusing. I
wish they would keep the s'more variety as permanent - could change the
mint, strawberry or peanut butter to slimited edition. At least, that's how my
taste preferences go. g
