Happy Anniversary!

A whoosh for me at this stage.

Current: 161.0
Loss: 2.2

I am not sure what contributed. 3 hikes: Exercise but not extreme
steepness. Away from home and less snacks but still some. The 2
scrambled eggs, 2 slices bacon and homemade bread with jam one
morning? Oatmeal the other two. Dinner out with a dark beer and the
other beer also dark? Mysteries?

Oh, yes, this week is my One Year Anniversary at LIFETIME.

Good job Fred. We may end up side by each this week, unless I get busy
between now and Saturday and take one or two off.

I'm going with dark mysteries. Because if your very nice loss is due to the
reduction of snacks or the type of exercise, or a combination of the two,
well, that wouldn't be very dark or very mysterious. And where's the fun in
that?

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S on your 1-yr anniversary of keeping it off.
You now qualify to join the National Weight Control Registry. Here's where
you can join online:
http://www.lifespan.org/services/bme.../NWCR_join.htm

Signing up for this longitudinal study could be a good way to celebrate and
acknowledge your effort and success to keep off the weight you lost.

'Course shoes would be just as good.

You know - the one that looks like chocolate and sometimes comes close
in taste - I like the thick, chocolately stouts. Thanks

Committing to your new reality by joining the registry of people who've kept
their weight off for a year: that sounds right. You'd also be "donating"
your body to science: that would be a good thing, as Martha Stewart might
say.

Shoes? Well, I have purchased 3 pairs of hiking boots in the last 6
to 9 months (g)

I will go with mystery, although Science Fiction might fit the bill,
too (G) Beam part of me up, Scotty (G) (no, not that part!!!!)

I remember when Lesanne mentioned that registry. I might do it or, at
least, think about it a bit more. Might be yet another way to really
commit.
