Default High fiber, low calorie foods?

I'm trying to get more fiber into my diet. So far, I've found cereals
give me the best bang for the calories. Anyone know of anything else
that's comparable and/or better? I'd like some variation in my diet.

All Bran Buds (30g):
Fiber: 12.9 g
Calories: 75

Fiber/Calories= 0.1720

KASHI Good Friends by Kellogg (30g)
Fiber: 8
Calories: 93
Fiber/Calories= 0.086

KASHI GoLEAN by Kellogg (40g)
Calories: 126.0
Fiber: 10.0
Fiber/Calories: 0.0794

Broccoli (100g)
Calories: 35
Fiber: 3.3
Fiber/Caloires: .0943

Spinach (100g)
Calories: 23
Fiber: 2.4g
Fiber/Calories: 0.1043

Don't know if as good or better, but some of the LC tortillas are high in
fiber and low in calories, if you can believe the nutritional info on the
labels....certainly a way to add some variety...did you check out
cauliflower?

Jake...

You've crossposted.

You've asked this question in a low carb newsgroup.

The calorie count doesn't matter as much as the carb count for low carb
eating plans.

So you won't find the answer you seek here.

Jennifer

My two best foods w/ref to fiber are prunes
and chickpeas. Always effective, and taste
terrific if you do it right. Like I have this recipe
for chickpeas that I call India-style chili, with
almost no fat. I like to eat pitted prunes straight
out of the bag. Also no fat. Both have lots of
nutrients too.

Some of us LCers do believe that calories count and we count calories. I
find his question a good one. High-fiber, low-calorie foods tend to be
filling, too.

Try psyllium husk powder, water, Splenda and Real Lemon pure lemon juice
concentrate (zero everything). A great, 100% fiber, filling drink before
eating... you'll eat less.

Exactly what I was looking for! Anyone know a source that sells this
cheap? It was $20 at safeway for 450g but I think I'm going to go
through a lot of this...

I got my splenda at smart & final - VERY cheap - almost half the price of
walmart.
