I've been low carbing for a year now
245/203/189 I've come to the conclusion that the reason the diet works is simply that protein works as a appetite depressant. If I eat bacon and scrambled eggs for b/fast I wont need to eat again till 4 pm ish, if I eat a similar quantity in serial flakes or toast or even add in hash brown and toast to the bacon and egg I am ravenous by 12 ish and my mood is swinging around due to blood sugar, this means my calorie consumption dropped by around a third, hardly supprising that I lost weight. Still its all good, its good not to have to live for the next meal any more. |
