My store just got them in and so I bought a bag. I have to say they are
quite tasty.

I thought they tasted good too. It was the horrible crumbly/soggy testure I
couldn't get past. After about three chips I threw out the bag.

Low carb junk food is still junk food.

Too bad, sooo sad, you don't like them, then don't eat them. I think
they're fine and agree with Kristy, as long as you use them in
moderation. I don't get why people have to start the "junk food",
"franken food", nonsense. Just about all of us use Splenda, don't we?
Or drink diet soda. Did I miss something, are they highly nutritious
morsels, or are they simply replacements for the high carb
alternatives, much like the Doritos?

I won't put anyone down for doing that. It's just not me, though. The main
thing that happened with me when I started the low-carb lifestyle was that I
lost interest in snacks. I have no desire for a lot of foods, including
chips or fries, ice-cream or candy, and if others can use these items and
have a good result, more power to them. I don't use Splenda or any other
sugar sub, because I'm pretty sure it won't work for me. It's taken me six
months to lose 25 pounds, and I have another 12 pounds to go. I don't need
or want any of that crap. I might change my mind and cheat with a few
high-carb foods every few months, but I won't sub a pretend food with a real
one.

That's just me. Everyone has their preferences, and I respect them.

I would never drink diet anything and would never use Splenda! I think they
are both gross.

I tried the cool ranch low carb Doritos. They tasted good but fell apart in
my mouth like saw dust. Could barley swallow a mouth full of sawdust. Won't
buy them again.
As for the fact about it being junk food, I know it is. The few low carb
junkfood treats I do eat keep me satisfied enough to continue on the low
carb lifestyle. It is not all I eat.

quite tasty. Nice to have something to crunch on or maybe dip with. But

if
you're the kind who will eat the whole bag once you start then don't get
them! They are tasty enough that if you are a snacker you could do it.
What I do is put one serving in a bowl and then I KNOW when I'm done!
