Well, I made my goal plus this month, but I'd hoped for a little more.
Getting antsy to see 200 and then 100 pounds down. Dang TOM at the end of the month, too, so I'm up in water weight. Awesome! Progress IS progress! This month wasn't as good as others, but I was still successful. My clothes are definitely getting looser, so I know I'm still losing inches. Don't know why the scale doesn't show it... Next month, I'm upping my exercise since that kind of went awry with family stresses right now. I imagine how you fit in your clothes is much more important than what the scales says. I bought the offline version of Fitday and I love it! So much faster than tracking online, and it's got a few more features. How much did you pay? ~Carol Ann www.lowcarblosers.com ~ Home of the FREE Monthly Weightloss Challenge http://tinyurl.com/3qjg4 ---Recent Pictures of Morgan |

Made goal yesterday. 269, 6 lbs lost for August.
Awesome!!! For september I'll maintain the same rate for the challenge, 6 lb 350/269/Sep-263/225 Started Jan 12, 2004 Done! I'd like to score 9lbs but that depends upon me being really good and maybe finding a higher activity level. In the meantime I'm happy with my current rate. It is easy to keep up, I'm getting to enjoy foods that I've always enjoyed eating and I just found that I can't shop in big and tall mens store anymore cause their stuff really is too big. I just bought a pair of Ralph Lauren jeans, 42 waist. Down 10 inches on waist. Slow and steady probably creates long term success. I would imagine you've got lowcarbing down to a real way of life. I'm impressed. WOW 10" less! Amazing! I measured myself and I'm 10" bigger since 2001. ARGH! Okay, I did have a baby, but I KNOW I would drop the pounds if I would stick to low carbing. Congrats again! ~Carol Ann |

This morning I weighed in at 242. Even after my vacation in Austin/San
Antonio I still made my August goal of 245 - plus a couple of extra pounds for good measure. At 242, that makes a grand total of 150 pounds gone in a little over 10 months! Oh my gosh!! Awesome!! Congrats!!! For the month of September, let's shoot for 9 pounds. That will take me down to 233, just 8 pounds from my goal weight of 225. And I have a beautiful new motivation to stay on the program - her name is Mary! Love is a wonderful motivator. Do you have pics?? ~Carol Ann www.lowcarblosers.com ~ Home of the FREE Monthly Weightloss Challenge http://tinyurl.com/3qjg4 ---Recent Pictures of Morgan |

Carol (Damsel) Carol, I haven't read the group in a while, so I'm not sure what is wrong. I do hope you are feeling better now!! Depression. I'm only reading sporadically myself. I did send you a letter about wanting to join the September Challenge. If you didn't receive it, please let me know. Thanks, Carol -- "Years ago my mother used to say to me...
