Default Thin days vs fat days

Because of yesterday's dentist trip and the fact that I couldn't really
eat anything yesterday and not much today I am feeling pretty svelte. I
find it a bit strange how some days you feel thinner than others. It
must be some head trip.
Strangely though on days that I feel 'fat' I seem to get a lot of
compliments from people that have noticed my weigh loss. It is good
because it keeps me going.
My friend says that certain clothes make her feel fatter or
thinner...anyone agree on this?

Of course....clothes can make you look 10 lbs heavier or 10 lbs
lighter. When I wear my jeans...I feel fat because they are still a
little tight. But everyone notices how much weight I lost. So its
worth the pain. ;-)

I think many, probably most, would agree with this. Sometimes it's
just because something is still a bit tight, or sometimes it just
doesn't feel right (if I have clothes like that I usually get rid of
them on the grounds that they'll never feel right).

Clothes that are too big can look just as bad, and I find it feels
better not to carry on wearing them after they reach that point.

If my pants feel a little tight then I feel huge--if they're loose I
feel thin. I weigh the same, it's just a matter of my addled brain and
years of screwed up body image.

As for jeans--DH had to replace the rod in the closet. I had to hang
everything back up when he was done--22 pairs of jeans of various sizes,
all mine. As I've been basically the same size for the last three years,
I'm not quite sure what I'm doing hanging on to the bigger sizes and the
"get-to" sizes. I'll have to purge...the jeans, I mean.

I have crazy "mood" swings about how I feel about how I look. Some
days I look down at me and think "looking good!", other days I see my
rolls of fat rolling off of me like a ghastly, fleshy tsunami. I don't
know that I can think of a way to level out these feelings, though I
hope that as I lose weight I'll stop as many bad feeling days.

Interesting how clothes effect us. I feel so much better about my
clothes lately. My main concern is whether or not my old workout pants
will fall down...yes I know I should get some new ones but I am not
quite ready yet.
Still working on getting up the nerve to put the bathing suit on and do
water aerobics.
