Default Perfect Food?

According to Lyle McDonald, the perfect diet has a ratio of 1 calorie from
protein to 1.5 calories from fat. Does anyone know of a food that has this
sort of ratio without adding stuff to it? Failing that, do you know of
simple recipes that create this ratio?

Well, you're looking for something which has about half amount of fat as
protein - opposite nuts. Perhaps beef, lamb and pork meat will do fine
(as you can trim the fat to match the ratio). Or make an omelet of 2
whites and 1 yolk.

Let's see, that's a 2:3 ratio, or 40% protein and 60% fat.
Allowing a 5% variance, and up to 5% carbs, gives...

(or, go to http://www.delorie.com/health/ns/ and do your own searches ;-)

Looks like cheese, eggs, and meat :-)

Can of chicken, add mayo. Chicken is 98% protein, mayo is 98% fat,
mix in whatever ratios you want.
