That's the right direction and a nice drop in the right direction.
Congrats. How's the weather been treating you? On Sat, 05 Mar 2005 13:50:04 GMT, Prairie Roots wrote: Down 2 lbs for my first WI after getting back to the program. |

Thanks Laura. Weekends are always rough so I had a hard time getting
started. But once Monday came, things seemed to fall into place food-wise. On Monday evening, I did Body Pump at the Y for the 1st time in over a year and my muscles didn't recover until Thursday! I went again yesterday and man, I'm feeling it today. Shows how much I need to be there. I'm trying to do things a little differently with food this time. I find it too easy to fall into food-choice and menu planning patterns which quickly turn into ruts. Although it's not the only reason I struggled to stay on program once I started hovering around my goal weight, one factor in my losing interest is that I was hungry for more interesting food and varied tastes. Now that I have a brand-new kitchen, I have a renewed interest in cooking. Unfortunately, I am brain-dead when it comes to menu planning. As a single person, most recipes leave far too many leftovers, and I end up eating the same meal all week or not having enough room in the freezer to store them. I discovered a subscription service that e-mails a weekly menus and shopping list. It's not Weight Watchers so I have to make some substitutions, but frankly, I'm not going to overworry about points so much this time. The meals and ingredients are mostly core, and where they aren't, I either substitute or count the points. In general, though, I'm feeling much more satisfied and satiated with less and not looking for more. That doesn't mean that pastries and sweets don't call my name and that I don't struggle to ignore them. For today, though, I'm doing well enough. -- Linda P On Sat, 05 Mar 2005 16:28:54 GMT, "Laura" wrote: Good job getting back on track. "Prairie Roots" wrote in message .. .
