Hi my name is Kimmy. I started WW two days ago. What am I doing
wrong? I have been eating right for the last two days. Yesterday
morning when I woke up and weighed myself, I didn't gain or lose
anything. This morning when I woke up, I gained 2 pounds! This
doesn't make any sense, and I can't figure out where I am going
wrong. Any ideas?

Give yourself at least a week before you weigh yourself. It's
impossible to know if you are doing anything wrong unless you state what
you have been eating. Are you weighing and measuring your food? Are
you drinking your daily water? Are you truly following the program?

Hi Kimmy! Just keep at it and like the previous poster suggested, give it a
week. Count your points, TRACK EVERYTHING, follow the good health
guidelines, and find low point snacks for those inbetween times. There are
a ton! It works, totally, if you do your part to truly count and track. If
you are counting, and tracking it all, and measuring what is needed, etc. it
will work. : ) Just because you don't see an intial loss within the first
two days of starting, don't give up or give in. You are on the right track,
and someone reminded me one time that all the weight didn't come on in one
week, so don't expect to take it off that fast either, haha. I cannot tell
you how many times I have reminded myself that this is a slow but steady
race. Persistance pays off, and you will succeed if you follow the plan!

Good luck and post here often! : )

Kimmy you're only two days in! Toss that scale! Even during a week
where say you did everything right you'd be amazed at how much that
weight goes up and down over the course of the week. It will drive you
nuts. Stick to weighing yourself once a week. You'll get WAY less
anxious. And the results will be more palatable!
Drink that water!

You may not be doing anything wrong. It could be water retention due
to salt intake, or just the normal variations we all get from time to
time. Give yourself some time to get used to the plan. It does work.
I lost 50 lbs on WW.

Yes, I am weighing and measuring everything. I am drinking so much
water I could float away. LOL! I am really hoping I am following it
the way I am supposed to. I am not actually going to any meetings or
anything. I am just getting my information as far as points are
concerned from my mom, who has done WW for years.

You are so right. It didn't take a day to put it on, so it won't come
off in a day. I was just so hoping to see some sort of a loss. It
was just hard seeing that gain. I will keep on at it, and hopefully
it will start coming off.

Since I can't afford to go to the meetings and get all the good
information, I feel like I am a bit lost when it comes to WW.
Hopefully getting tips here will help me.

I plan on sticking around.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but the fact that your mom has been
doing it for years, doesn't mean that she's doing it right. Get yourself to
one meeting, stay for the getting started session and make sure to do it
right...

That's not the problem though... if you really think that you'd see results
in 2 days.. you've got a lot of work to do on bringing your expectations
back to reality... Weigh yourself in once a week... after 3-4 weeks see how
you're doing.. if on average you're losing between 0.5 and 2 lbs per week,
you'd doing just fine, less than that, you need to see how well you're
following the plan, if you're losing more than 2 lbs a week on average...
EAT!

Good luck... remember it's more about health, than about losing fast!

Hi, what you are doing wrong is looking at your weight too much, that is all
some people gain for a week or so just because their body is starved for
good food, do NOT let the scale rule your life/eating/emotions, welcome and
good luck, Lee
