Default Atkins says NOT true about changing position on fats

Just got this from the Atkins email list...

We want to assure you that when you follow the Atkins Nutritional
Approach (ANA), the consumption of all forms of natural fat is
perfectly safe. Let us also remind you that despite numerous studies
that have supported the safety and efficacy of the ANA, the
conventional nutrition community has no scientific research to back up
its claims that consuming fat (including saturated fat) is bad for you
in the context of a controlled carbohydrate lifestyle.

The fight goes on—and will no doubt continue. *** The latest attack
comes in the form of an outrageous article in The New York Times,
claiming that we at Atkins have changed our position on fat
consumption. *** Loud and clear, with the notable exception of
man-made trans fats (which Dr. Atkins long ago identified as
dangerous), all fats are a healthy component of the Atkins lifestyle.

Atkins has not changed its basic tenets in more than 30 years. So what
is new? Well, Atkins is changing the way people around the world eat
and that should keep us in the headlines for years to come!

MereMale, and believe me, you are..... Mere Male, you want people to
respond to the various articles but I notice you want them to respond
ONLY if they post in the particular way you feel they should.

I suppose sitting at your table, we may talk but only talk the way
*you* decide we can. Garbage.

Frankly, I hope everyone top posts because I would rather have them
write in and say what they feel, than have people not respond at all.

You live how you see fit, Male, and the rest of us will live how *we*
see fit.

no argument with that, i am touch with the greater variances

in collective superiority out there.

i do hope you will demonstrate your piece of it.

respond to the various articles but I notice you want them to respond

ONLY if they post in the particular way you feel they should.

*_i_* neither "want" nor "feel" anything.

this is a UseNET based support group.

I suppose sitting at your table, we may talk but only talk the way

*you* decide we can. Garbage.

*_you_* did the assuming,,why am i not surprised *_y o u_* concluded

garbage?

Frankly, I hope everyone top posts because I would rather have them

write in and say what they feel, than have people not respond at all.

maybe you would be best advised to read and comprehend a

little deeper,, before that 'foot in mouth' grows large enough

to totally block your vision, eh?

presumptive?

please, sway me.

You live how you see fit, Male, and the rest of us will live how *we*

see fit.

i do,, and no doubt "*we*" (whoever that is) will also

continue to do so.

some advice sunshine, if u r going to go about ramming your

opinions up the arse of those simply repeating convention -

for the "Quick Start" enquirer, i might add - then to supply some

facts/reasons for holding that view would maybe make for

good wadding? I do not consider myself singled out for

your attention, at all.

for mine,, you can lie there in your perambulator wallowing

and wailing in your own ****, spitting top posts all day, no

skin off my nose.

enjoy whatever time you have left,, an' smile a little.
