Starting Over
Hello All, I finally won the battle and convinced my hubby to let me go grocery shopping so we could get started on Atkins again. Small tangent, he was kind of cute. He offered to do this with me for support, but every time I mentioned it, he brought home ice cream or pizzas or other no- no's. Anyway, I have done Atkins before, with success and I'm hoping to do so again. The first time we did it, we did Induction and then went on vacation and blew it completely; the two weeks of Induction were highly successful for me, though, so I tried it again. The next few attempts I was lured in to all the hype on the bars and candy and other low carb products and stalled every time. I now know better, I hope, and am in for the long haul. I am 5'3" and 225lbs, which is 10lbs higher than my previous highest and is what caused me to insist on starting over. Anyway, this speel is really just to say, I'm starting over. Today, 2pm, is the beginning of Induction for me. I plan on staying on Induction, possibly extreme lowcarb OWL for a few months to get the bulk of the weight off. Just wanted to get this out there. Thanks for reading. Amanda 225/225/130 |
