How fast you lose will depend a lot on how much you have to lose, the fatter
you are the quicker it comes off. Generally speaking, it is better to lose slowly than too fast. If you are happy I would say you are doing fine. http://www.geocities.com/jenny_the_bean/dietpage.htm analyzes data collected
here on the newsgroup over many months to show you statistics about real people's low carb weight loss so you can see how you compare. I'd say that 18 lbs is a fine result, especially since you're a year in, still low carbing, and haven't gained the weight back as so many people do who have more dramatic losses in the short term. It's even better if you did it by eating in a way you can keep eating at for the rest of your life! -- Jenny Cut the carbs to respond to my new email address! You sound happy, so I think that answers the "good" part. -- Jean B. |
