Default 6 days to goal?

Ok you fun loving lo-carbers ... I set a five pound goal for the month and
still have 2 pounds to go to make goal. This should be a no brainer,
except that I have deferred weight loss on several occasions in the past two
weeks. Will you please offer me a virtual kick in the butt or a word of
encouragement ... whichever suits your temperament, and help me get off this
fence? I just have to make goal and your KIP (kick in the pants) might just
be the item to move me.

If not, I am a hopeless wretch who might as well give up and be fat, right
JC?

Thanks in advance for your sure-to-be entertaining, and helpful, comments.

Methinks that if you make 3 pounds you'll be fine. But four pounds is
something you can do if you just up your exercise a bit and push away from
the table a bit sooner, fatboy.

I can go either way.

IMHO focus should be on developing routines where low carb is a way of life.
Staying on those routines requires monitoring. http://www.FitDay.com makes
the monitoring process practical.

Your short term goal is a bit too short. The body has its own schedule for
things.

Well, Roger, I just don't know what to think about this ... you are likely
right about the 4 pounds for the month .... and this is not bad, really, is
it? As for pushing away from the table ..... I just downed 16 oz. of water
in your honor and now will think of you next time I pee. ;-}

Thanks for the nudge toward Fitday.com. I checked it out, after ignoring
the common wisdom of the group for the past 10 months, and have created an
account there..... I thrive on such regimentation (i.e reporting, etc.) so
this could be a big help ... have set a new goal for 12/31. This, being a
sold 13-14 weeks away, would seem to be a reasonable time frame in which to
make some healthy changes.

Cubit, have read your posts all year .... will be paying closer attention
now. Consider me chastened and educated.

No, very realistic and worth trying for!

Haha...good attitude, John!
