There are a number of web based forums, Yahoo and otherwise. Yahoo groups
aren't bad because you can receive them in email but I find web boards a pain. Usenet is so much easier to follow. Just Google low carb and you will find lots of links. In . net, Dropped 21 stated | "Dropped 21" wrote in message | . net... || Hi all- || || I know most people here like Fitday but what are some other websites || that are helpful for Low-carbers? Are there any great sites for || info, products and/or support? I just read this newsgroup, are there || other LC newsgroups? || || Thanks! || JoAnna || || 176/150 sept goal met/120 (imagine!!) || || | | C'mon people! No one wants to share some sites with me :-( |

I mostly invent my own recipes or adapt regular recipes to low carb. Most
can be adapted pretty easily. In . net, Dropped 21 stated | | yeah thanks - I was hoping to get people's personal opinions and | favorites. Not googles. Like you have recipes sites. Is there one in | particular that is a wealth of super recipes for LC-ers or is this | like asking people to divulge thier biggest secrets? Do people not | want to share and just say "Get your own!" ? |

My personal favorite is the one from this newsgroup. I like it mostly
because the recipes on the whole call for everyday ingredients. www.camacdonald.com/lc/Cookbook/Desserts.html -- Linda 296/199/160 LC since Oct. 13, 2003 http://home.att.net/~lewis_linda/index.html http://community.webshots.com/user/mslewtoo "Are you telling me there are dead people in my living room watching videos?"--Nina (Truly, Madly, Deeply "Dropped 21" wrote in message . net... "Lady o' the house" wrote in message news Dropped, Just now read your first post. I get all of my 'support' from this newsgroup, but I have bookmarked bunches of sites with recipes, mainly. Just google 'low carb' and peruse the results. Also, if you are following a particular plan, google for that official site. I have the Atkins Center site bookmarked, although I rarely check it out due to it being a highly 'commercial' site. Too many references to using their products! -- Linda 296/199/160 LC since Oct. 13, 2003 http://home.att.net/~lewis_linda/index.html http://community.webshots.com/user/mslewtoo "Are you telling me there are dead people in my living room watching videos?"--Nina (Truly, Madly, Deeply) yeah thanks - I was hoping to get people's personal opinions and favorites. People combined all their collective ideas of where to look for information and wowsers, out came page after page of "personal" favorites. So take a look at the FAQ to see lists of peoples favorites.
