Placid It's entirely incorrect that the human brain needs 120g of carbs a day just to function. The ONLY time in the last few YEARS I've gotten that much carb is on my long bike ride days and a few periodic splurges of carbs. Other than that, I stay well under 120g a day of carbs, and I feel great. In fact, on low fat, I had the 3pm sleepies, which are completely gone on low carb.
