Default Shelf life of protein powder?

Hi,

Just found an old container of "CFM Whey Protein" from Protein Factory in
the back of my pantry. It must be from about 2001-2002. I see no
expiration or "best before" date... Does this stuff expire? It looks &
smells pretty much like the container I bought a few weeks ago, but I
thought I'd ask here before experimenting.

Thanks!

The safe bet is to throw it out. If you're cheap or poor, you can try other
alternatives.
