I am not sure what to make of this article, since i exercise at night after
supper, i am pretty much in a jam

The folks they're referencing are triathletes and marathoners. Not
us. Relax. If after supper is when you will exercise then that's a
good time for you to do it.

For weight lifting, some carbs might be helpful before and after you
work out. They aren't necessary however. There are successful low-carb body
buildiners. But I don't think during a weight loss phase, just doing the
treadmill you are absolutely OK without carbs. This is the knowledge I've
come across over the past few months at least.

Believe it or not, this depends too. A single statement like this can't
begin to address the issue of whether or not carbs are needed following
exercise. It really does depend on a lot of factors.
