If no one here wants to be your diet buddy, you might ask there. Why so picky about who you chat with about this? Tonia |

Dr Phil 7 keys to weight loss
Hello xxxx,
I replied to the email you sent me. Of course I'm male, had more than 100 pounds to lose, and I have kids. I don't know why that should matter though, this is a great place to tell others what's on your mind. There are others here I believe from the UK like you. Anyways, I enjoyed Dr. Phil's book and would be glad to correspond if you want to or if you have any questions. Sincerely, Paul in Good Ole Texas US of A 300/233/175 "damson" wrote in message ... I applaud you for your effort.
Dr. Phil...have you noticed he's about 60 pounds over weight? I'd pick another person to follow. Have you seen Dr. Bruner that has been on his show? She doesn't subscribe to his program, she's on the medical advisory board of another another group of Doctors. Good luck, Michelle "damson" wrote in message ... I am looking for a diet buddy. I don't watch TV, sorry. i I was very down on Dr. Phil but decided to check his "7 key to weight loss" book out of the library. I was shocked at how really sensible it is. If you can get a copy of the book from the library or if you have the money to spare, I'd recommend that you read it. Dr. Phil talks about getting to a weight that you can maintain and is healthy for you. It may not be the weight at which you have only 10% body fat. So his idea weight is higher than you think it should be. You don't have to live in Dr. Phil's body, he does. I don't think that makes him a hypocrite. I still find it sort of troubling to see the multitude of Dr. Phil branded diet stuff filling up the "health" food section of the grocery store. I haven't really looked at the ingredients to see if it's better than Atkins branded stuff or the slimcrap stuff. I don't begrudge the guy his ability to make money, though. Tonia |

Dr Phil 7 keys to weight loss
I've seen him mentioned at 6' 4" and 240 pounds. He admits to fighting his
weight problem and also mentions he has many obese people in his family. He is a large guy, just look at the size of his hands or his head. While he may have some weight he could do without, he is very active from all accounts. I also think he looks taller than 6' 4". I think it's easier to listen to someone who does struggle like the rest of us than someone who is rail thin and has never fought their weight. He is much more "real" in that sense. He is probably healthier, even with that extra 20 pounds than many people who are skinny but never exercise or eat junk food all the time. Melissa 140/133/125 "Lance Henzey" wrote in message m... Dr Phil 7 keys to weight loss
I don't think Dr. Phil is overweight. I don't know how folks say he is.
Has anyone seen him without a suit on? I haven't, he's a tall individual and plays tennis daily, probably has a personal chef to cook for him. He's made several books on weight issues and I'm sure he practices what he preaches. He speaks the truth about why people are overweight. I've noticed lots of folks don't like him and his method or approach, but I like him and I like his writings. His book reads well, makes sense, and is very inspirational.
