Default Amberle3's NYNY, THTP & NSVs

NYNY wk 11 - Weighed in this morning - 219! Yay! That's a loss of 1
pound, which I'm thrilled about. The scale was actually fluctuating
between 218 and 219, so I went with the higher one.

THTP wk1 - managed to squeeze in some kind of exercise on 5 days, how
I'm not quite sure. Today I re-introduced 1lb hand weights back into my
exercise bike routine. Sure gets the heart rate up!

NSVs:
1) Did a mini cleanup of the place yesterday (hunting down a Christmas
present that had gone astray) and as I was putting things back in my
closet I decided to try some of them on. Much to my disappointment some
of my favourite things are no longer wearable - they just hang on me!
My mother, on the other hand, is very pleased - she gets them now. Some
of the fit her now, some of them will need a few more weeks.
2) Last year for Christmas I was given underwear from "Santa".
Unfortunately they were a size Large, and I was a 22 at the time. I did
try them on just in case, but there was absolutely no way. They've been
sitting, in the package, in my drawer ever since. Every now and then I
look at them and wonder when I'll be able to wear them. About 2 or 3
months ago I tried them on and they were still too tight. On a lark I
tried them on yesterday morning, and they fit. Woohoo! And that leads
into ...
3) I can now wear underwear that aren't those full coverage,
up-to-the-waist types. Which is good, because I've found that now that
I'm wearing pants and jeans that don't have an elastic waist the
waistband tends to dip down in the back when I'm sitting and y'know I'd
just really rather not have my underwear showing. Is that still the
rage now though, or was that just for guys? Have I missed being "hip"
yet again? And frankly, even with the larger of the pairs of jeans that
I have (the 16) they're loose enough that you can see the underwear even
when I'm standing up.

Gotta love losing weight It's amazing how crappy other things can
be, but something as simple as underwear fitting can make your day!

Great going on the underwear. It's great isn't it? I'm hoping Santa
will bring me some new undies. My 3 favourite pairs keep slipping down
so I think I need to go down a size.

Hurrah! Mind you - bet I'd have gone with the lower one *grin* Still -
you'll get that for next week, so that's cool

Ah well. Can't complain really. Unless you actually *want* to still be
able to wear the larger things........no? Thought not. *grin* I do know
the feeling though - fond farewells have been made to several special
dresses and outfits over the years.

2) Last year for Christmas I was given underwear from "Santa".

I have this problem all the time - specially as I have a large tattoo at the
bottom of my back - people keep seeing it when I don't intend them too!
Still - I secretly kinda enjoy that, so...... Anyway, my favourite underwear
NSV is that I can wear thongs now - which I just couldn't before......so I
know how you feel.
